Instant Picture Share Gallery

Features and Functionality

    • Add Contacts to the buddy list:  The registered users of m|Share service can be added to the buddy list.
    • Click and Upload a picture: The picture clicked by the camera can be saved locally or can be uploaded depending on the users choice in various folders:
      • Public
      • Private
      • Restricted

    View Picture gallery: The User can view his own picture gallery in the My Picture folder

    View Buddy pictures: The user can also view the pictures of any of the buddies in the Buddy List.

    Authorization: The Authorization option facilitates the user to authorize or allow buddies to view picture shared by the user. Buddies who are authorized can view the pictures uploaded in restricted folder.

    Delete Contact: This option facilitates to delete the contacts present in the buddy list after confirming the deletion

Web Interface

Web interface provides access to non-mobile users as well as a wider community base to the mobile users’ shared pictures.

Deployment

Deployment of m|Share in GPRS network is seamless. There are no changes required to the network configuration. It overlays and connects to the network as a standard GPRS application on the network.

Handset Support

This application is java (j2me) based hence can be ported on most of the phones. The connectivity required for this application to connect to the server is TCP/IP connectivity (not WAP). Hence all phones providing this interface will be able to support the application.
