The server also has an optional DIAMETER module that can be used for Authentication, Accounting and Authorization (AAA) functionalities.

The charging module allows various modes of charging

  • Subscription based charging
  • Pre-paid charging
    • Number of days/hours/minutes
  • Per transaction charging
    • CDR based charging for postpaid
    • Per transaction deduction for pre-pai

Instant Messaging

The Instant Messaging Module provides exchange of instant messages between two SIMPLE based clients. Messages can be exchanged in paging mode as well as session mode.

Presence is the main driver behind instant messaging. Availability will enable the sender to know weather the receiver is available to read the message or not. Instant messages sent in paging mode are store and forward, where if a user is not available, the message is stored as offline message and delivered as soon as the user is available.
